Personalized Learning
At Uppsala International School (UIS), we believe that a strong partnership between school and home plays a vital role in every child’s academic and personal development. Through our dynamic Parents Association (PA) and a proactive approach to parental engagement, we work hand-in-hand with families to create a thriving and inclusive learning community.
Research shows that students perform better when their parents are involved in school life. At UIS, we don’t just welcome your participation—we value it as a core part of our school’s success. From helping at events to offering insights and suggestions, your engagement strengthens our learning environment.
Together, we create a supportive, connected community where every child can thrive.
The Uppsala International School Parents Association (UISPA) aims to strengthen the sense of unity among parents, students, faculty, and school leadership. By working collaboratively, we strive to enrich the student experience and help families better understand the values, policies, and vision of UIS. Our mission is made possible through the active involvement and support of our parent volunteers.
Every UIS parent is automatically a member of the Parents Association. Your participation brings new energy, fresh ideas, and cultural richness to our school. Whether you help with events, share your expertise, or simply lend a hand, your involvement makes a meaningful difference in your child’s educational journey.
