The Cambridge Pathway

At UIS, our students benefit from the full Cambridge Pathway, an internationally recognized educational framework developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education. Designed for students aged 5 to 19, the pathway fosters academic excellence, global awareness, and real-world readiness.

The Cambridge Pathway consists of five progressive stages:

  • Cambridge Primary

  • Cambridge Lower Secondary

  • Cambridge Upper Secondary (IGCSE)

  • Cambridge Advanced (A Level)

Each stage builds on the foundations of the previous one, while offering flexibility to meet each learner's individual needs. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity—core skills essential for success in both higher education and the workplace.

The five stages lead seamlessly from primary to secondary and pre-university years. Each stage –  Cambridge PrimaryCambridge Lower SecondaryCambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced – builds on the learners’ development from the previous one, but can also be offered separately.
